Vision
The worldwide Church consists of all christians worldwide. The Local Church
consists of all christians in your city, town or village. They normally meet in
several places throughout that city, town or village. They do so because it
would be inconvenient for all of them to meet in one place. They would meet
in one place if their numbers were small enough. The Bible speaks e.g. about
the Church that is the house of Priscilla and Aquilla (Rom 16:5) but does also
speak about the Church at Corinth (1 Cor 1:2).
Different beliefsystems, doctrines and preferences cause that christians rarely
if ever give together expression to the unity of the Local Church. Instead they
tend to meet with those who have the same sets of beliefs and preferences.
It should not be so that you can find in one streetblock several christians who
don't meet with one another but all go to their own christian group. They should
instead meet with one another.
The rest of this page is devoted to give christians information about all kinds of
viewpoints as held by all kinds of christians. There doesn't exist one single
christian or single christian group who has all the truth. All have part of
the truth. All are ignorant about some part of the truth and all are mistaken
about some other part of the truth. It is our hope that this will cause christians
both to find the truth about each of these subjects and also to make them humble
enough to admit that they were wrong and/or had prejudices. Last but not least
it's our hope that all christians will love one another and be bold to seek and
maintain fellowship with one another and together be the Local Church.
Page introduction
This page is a conglomeration of opposing viewpoints on all kinds of subjects which
has to do with Christianity. They are organized according to the main subject.
The intention is to name two links which are pro the subject and two which are con.
In some cases YouTube video's are included as well. All links and YouTube video's
are intended to be the viewpoint of Christians. For the purpose of this page are
Christians those who proclaim themselves to be one or/and are part of a Christian
group. The exceptions are provided with additional background information. The links
are intended to be quality links from the opposing viewpoints. If you have a
suggestion for a subject or/and pro/con links we will review them and when we think
them to be a worthwhile add-on we will include them on this page. Please contact us

It is written by somebody who considered himself to be a Born Again Christian even when
he set up his critical website. Later he renounced his faith. That makes for one of
the subjects: Once a Christian, always a Christian?! His website is a quality website as for content and friendly style given the critique he has on many Christian subjects.

by a theologian given the links he provides. The quality of this theomatics con link is not
to be found in his critique on theomatics as he only gives his opinion without explanation.
He does refer to ELS (Bible Code) but that's totally unrelated to theomatics. The power
of this link though can be found in the quality links he provides about the research which
is done in the field of Bible numerics).
Additional comments:
You probably have noticed that the Welcome part at the Home Page is linked to
www.theomatics.com. It is still a quite unknown subject and a very holy one at that.
It deals with very spiritual matters. Its implications are farreaching. Nevertheless it is
interesting to see that as far as the author of that site (Del Washburn) is concerned,
the Church only exists in order to bring people in a personal relationship with God. This
very much at odds with that proposition.
Here is what Del Washburn says about it on one of his website which is a very beautiful statement when you skip the word 'only' and adds that the most important
purpose of the Church is the kingdom of heaven:
"The only purpose of any church or ministry within the body of Christ, is to lead people
to a deep and abiding PERSONAL relationship with God."

The three video's below demonstrate how unbelievers can be turned into 'believers'

A comment on Derren Brown: He said he was an Evangelical Christian. He claims now
to be an atheist.
